   Rosa Orbea and Julio Muñoz has lived in Trinidad all their life and enjoy sharing their intimate knowledge of this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage city. They delight in welcoming visitors to their “Muñoz Tapas” restaurant, and to their nearby colonial-era bed & breakfast (casa particular), "Casa Muñoz".
   Rosa inherited her father’s passion for authentic Cuban cuisine, and she is an excellent cook! On important dates, such as birthdays, she used to love preparing huge banquet dinners for our family and friends at home, but her dream was always to own a restaurant where everybody can enjoy her unique recipes and delicious dishes, and share friendship and love.
   Her dream came true with Muñoz Tapas! In addition to its superlative cuisine, the rooftop restaurant boasts a balcony and a terrace overlooking the colonial city and facing the mountains and sea, ideal for enjoying a wonderful sunset while enjoying cocktails and tapas or heartier fare.
   This is the only restaurant in Trinidad with a privileged position and rooftop terrace at the principal corner in the heart of Trinidad, just one block away from Plaza Mayor and from where you can enjoy a gentle natural breeze plus wonderful views of the city, mountains, and sea. From the balcony and terrace you can watch the fascinating street life below, while the multiple windows that surround the main dining room become “living” paintings framing beautiful Trinidad.
